FAQ

Yes, that is no problem, the more the merrier. We quite often have younger siblings come along to class. Parents are welcome to bring along a pushchair and park it in the hall (subject to space), or some parents prefer to bring along their baby sling or car seat carrier. During school holiday classes, older siblings up to the age of 7 are welcome to join the fun (*additional fee may apply) and sibling teamwork is encouraged.

At the end of their first session your Tot will be given a sticker chart, on which to collect their weekly stickers for the term. Please bring this along to the class (do not panic if you forget it, your Tot can wear their sticker home instead). You may also like to bring a drink or snack along with you too. We do not stop the session for a drink or snack, but during the free flow part of the session, you may wish to have a quick refuel. Active Totz can be hungry work.

Yes, that is no problem, let’s be honest what toddler doesn’t find it hard to keep still? Our classes are semi-structured, there will be a little bit of group work, but also some free time to explore and play with the different equipment available. There is no pressure at all for your little one to join in, if something else is taking their attention then that is no problem at all. We usually find that it can take a little one up to 3 or 4 sessions to fully settle into the routine of class.

Terms normally align with the local school terms and during term time we run termly block bookings. If there is space available in the class, it is possible to join part way through a term, for the remaining weeks.

During school holidays we do offer one off events or Pay As you Go Classes, to help fit around your holiday plans. These classes are not part of the termly block booking and therefore should you wish to join a holiday class a separate booking should be made.

Active Totz T-shirts are available to purchase, please contact your Area Manager to find out more.

In the top right-hand corner of the Active Totz website you will find a ‘Book Now’ button, which will lead you through to the booking page. Or alternatively, contact your Area Manager (via email or whatsapp) and they will be happy to answer any queries you may have.

If you miss a session due to being unwell or holiday etc, we offer our customers the opportunity to attend another class/venue during the term to catch up on the session missed. If you know in advance a week you are unable to attend but could do a different day/venue that week, let your Area Manager know, and they will accommodate you where they can.

Yes, parents stay at the sessions, and the little ones really enjoy playing with the equipment with their grownups, it is all part of the fun. With your Mightyz aged children (3 to 5 Years), they start to become more independent and may enjoy exploring the equipment on their own or with a friend from class.

Yes, these classes are suitable for children with SEN. Before booking you may wish to contact your Area Manager to discuss your little one’s specific needs, this is to help give the coach some context as to whether anything in the session may need adapting. At the time of booking, there will also be a question about medical conditions, so please do fill in this section as well, so that it filters through to our coach prior to starting the session.

Yes absolutely. We understand that customers may be unsure about booking for a whole term, if they haven’t had a chance to try the session first and see if their little one enjoys the class. Therefore, if there is space available in class, there will be a handful of free trial session places available to book each week. So that you can come and ‘try before you buy’.
